Momentum
Printing & Graphics, Inc. has produced newsletters, magazines,
manuals, books, and directories for a wide range of businesses and
organizations. When one contrasts the term publishing from the word
printing, the difference can be explained through a total project
management approach to the job.
The printer follows the customer's lead in commiting a fully developed
idea to print. The publisher helps the client develop, translate,
or format materials; coordinate advertising creation and placement,
develop a graphic motif to be used throughout, and obtain a mailing
list.
The printer takes the customer's camera ready copy or diskette and
produces a publication. The publisher takes a concept (a stack of
notes on cocktail napkins) and develops a functional printed piece
or promotional vehicle to fulfill the promise of the idea.
